It’s official, The Mortuary Assistant is finally out. Just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone on the crew for working their asses off to make this movie what it is. I’m incredibly proud of it. Filmmaking is a team sport, and we had a great team. Our director
@jeremiah.kipp challenged me as soon as he hired me. “Make yourself uncomfortable. Push yourself to try things you haven’t done before.” I took that challenge head on, we shot Anamorphic 16mm with a crazy rig we built from eBay parts. We even shot VHS. Our first scene with the amazing Paul Sparks, he showed up and we have an old JVC VHS Camera setup and ready to go. I was nervous because I wanted him to know, “I promise I have better gear”. Getting to work with
@willaholland was fantastic she made every day fun and it was awesome working with an actor who knew as much about the lenses and gear we were using as I did. Thanks to the producers Cole Payne for pulling us all together.
@norman_cabrera_monsters your work was amazing and I was excited everyday we had an effect on the call sheet. Can’t thank
@randysinq and his awesome family enough for supporting the project the way they did. Wouldn’t have been possible without them. And thanks to my Camera/G&E team, thanks for putting up with me. Haha. Hope everyone enjoys the movie. #mortuaryassistant #mortuaryassistantmovie
