TBT to the final round of Destructive Steps 2024, the biggest allstyle battle event in Australia ❤️🔥
It was an emotional day reaching a goal in which l thought was personally impossible when I started dancing. Destructive steps was always the event that inspired me as a young dancer as I saw many dance heroes of mine being past winners or runners up.
I didn't post this for the longest time due to feeling deep imposter syndrome and had many voices in my head downplaying my feelings. Was it unresolved olympian fallacy? I don't know haha 🤔
But after much time of self-discovery, I feel like I can finally express how much that moment personally meant to me. I'm grateful to have shared such a stage with my amazingly talented friends - it really felt like we were all superheroes thanks to them. The journey was long, and the journey will be long after too, but i'm glad to have this memory. 🙏

With 12+ years dedicated to the art of popping, Kev has built his foundation in the style while continually exploring his curiosity in dance experimenting with others. Driven by a constant desire to evolve his movement and refine his expression, he has taken his craft beyond the studio—stepping into jams and battles both locally and internationally while also seeking to contribute back to the community through events and mentorship. Always continuing to test, refine, and redefine his craft on every stage he steps onto, Kev approaches dance as a lifelong journey of growth and intrinsic passion.
