Today was the last class with my usual group with @4refugeewomen and we all felt quite emotional. They have said so many warm words about how much these classes meant for them, I am still processing it. I will miss the beautiful women, they are all in my heart. ❤️

How many flowers is too many? ❤️
Today’s @4refugeewomen group were making a simple fabric flower that hides a lot of learning within it. It brings the basics of hand sewing together with finding the hands’ relationship with the fabric, feeling the way of working with different fabrics, starting and ending stitches, and creating a unique personalised item that is immediately wearable! My favourite comment of the day: “Ah! I’ve made this!”

My morning prepping for today’s Crafts and Wellbeing group with Women For Refugee Women, with some free spaces to be filled in with extra things! Love any reason to cut colourful paper!
