Join Craig from Draw Plants Together @drawplantstogether and the editorial team from KERB 34 @kerbjournal next Saturday May 23, at Pound Bend in Warrandyte, Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Country, for ‘drawing as dialogue’ — a special workshop for KERB 34: KNOT – the 34th edition of the Journal of Landscape Architecture. The documentation of this workshop, including photos, drawings and written reflections, generated as part of the workshop, will form part of my submission to this year’s journal. ‘Drawing as Dialogue’ takes the metaphor of ‘knot’ (this year’s theme) and explores drawing as a dialogic practice for retying a sense of relationship within and across species boundaries. What’s it like to experience drawing as an embodied, sensing process of receptivity, registering, reflection and response? How can this quiet, attentive dialogue revitalise connections between self and other, between self and world? This workshop is free to attend. As part of the workshop, I’ll provide a consent form to allow use of material generated as part of the journal submission. Please contact me if you have any questions around this.
