We need empathy and off-ramps — not shame. So I was down bad with a cold this week and while I was laid up looking for something to watch I ended up on The Count of Monte Cristo on PBS. I’ve officially entered my geriatric era. But I loved it. Also PBS Passport is $60 annually. I think I sad $40 in the video.#pbs #savepbsfunding
Last year I asked the universe to guide me towards what could I do to be the most useful (and not add to confusion) in this moment. It’s been almost 6 months since the pivot happened, and I’m grateful. Your talents will always make space for you. 📸: @itsjonchen
Had such a great time at the Brandy & Monica show last night with one of my besities!!! Kelly Rowland killed it. Both Brandy and Monica killed it, I liked the production and the way they weaved their sets together, and I even got a little teary eyed, seeing two grown women getting over past drama and if nothing else elevating each other. Brandy said at one point that she’d never played these kind of arenas before this tour and shows how much stronger they are together. I felt like Mister at the end of The Color Purple—“It sho is good to see you two together again!”
