Tonne up!
This is something that back in 2022 when I would huff and puff round Whitehall Rugby Club playing fields listening to @gardnauk ‘Time and Space’ and @confidenceman ‘Tilt’ on rotation while using the Couch to 5K app wondering if I’d ever be able to run continuously for more than 2 minutes, I’d never have thought I could achieve. But then, here we are.
This middle aged milestone would not have been possible without my three wives to whom I must now give thanks. First, to my two running wives, @alastair_betty for his organisational skills and motivating me to do the longer runs, and @phil_likes_hops for his non-stop enthusiasm for @parkrunuk and always believing I could do it faster and better.
And then of course, my actual wife @hillken1945 for holding it down while I shoot off every Saturday morning to run round a public park/playing field/disused power station. Without her I am a lesser - and less fit - man.
250 up next; but that one will be a while.

After their legendary Arc Bar & Native parties back in the day, a decade of residencies, festivals and shows in every city across the UK, the Leisure Allstars dispersed to pursue various musical passion projects, but the call of the cheap plastic rave horn was too strong and now they are back at the perfect spot at The Full Moon courtyard, bigger, badder and heavier than ever.
