Kanyustar! As I make this post, I have to come to the firm realization of the fact that I actually can’t describe my life without your friendship in it! From all the way back as littu youngins in the streets of St.Andrews, growing up together & to so many of life’s highs and lows. You have been there all along. You’ve been my fellow singer, fellow PnW leader, Keyboardist, Bassist & Guitarist, MD, Photographer & Master Content creator, Airport runs buddy, bodyguard at Gigs, Legal Advisor,to keeping tabs on each other regardless of which parts of the world we’re in; the list doesn’t end but the best of them all has been simply knowing that you are my friend. Girl, where do I even begin 🥹 there are so many things that I could say, but words wouldn’t even be enough. This past year was so tough, but I’m so thankful I have you. I’m thankful for the laughter. I’m thankful for the tears. I’m thankful that we could be overwhelmed by the pain of searing loss together. Thank you for encouraging me. For calling daily about the most mundane of things, with conversations that always end with, “Ok dia, happy *insert verb of whatever you were doing/intending to do before I interrupted you*”. With you I’ve learnt what it means to actually do life with a friend, to go through the turbulence of grief, the highs of success, the persistence that comes with growth, the beauty of memories. Thank you for pushing me to be better, and for your wisdom for my endless dilemmas 🫠. Thank you for sharpening my discernment (and helping me work on my stranger danger 😂😂😂). Thank you for being my greatest cheerleader babessss - besties FOR LAIF. This world is yours. Everyone deserves to hear you sing, your beautiful tone, your craft that you work so hard on, for an industry you fiercely fight for. You deserve to dance and laugh and be loved always.
