The American Criterium Cup is proud to welcome Caldera Medical x Aurea Racing (
@calderamedical_aurearacing ) to the 2026 team lineup! 🚴🔥
Co-owned by Kendall Ryan (
@kendall_ryan92 ) and Laurel Rathbun (
@laurelridesbikes ), this new USA Cycling Domestic Elite women’s team launches in 2026 with a mission to set a gold standard for how women’s cycling teams are run. Together, they secured title partner Caldera Medical (
@caldera_medical ), a company dedicated to improving quality of life for women which is an ethos that reflects the team’s purpose both on and off the bike.
The team name Aurea Racing comes from the Latin word for “golden,” a nod to their ambition and identity thus earning the squad the affectionate nickname the “golden girls.” ✨
For their inaugural season, Ryan and Rathbun have assembled a stacked seven-rider roster featuring Olympians, former world champions, the current U.S. Professional Criterium National Champion, and multiple Pan-American and national champions across road and track.
Their commitment to the sport goes beyond the competition. Earlier this year, Kendall and Laurel spent time mentoring young riders at the ACC Junior Camp in Tucson, reflecting their dedication to supporting the next generation of talent.
Lining up this season, Kendall and Laurel will represent their team and partners while proudly carrying the vision of the American Criterium Cup forward and bringing the heat to every start line. Through Caldera Medical x Aurea Racing, they aim not only to compete at the highest level, but to illuminate women in sport. 🔥
