@kenbaughman 's piece honors restoration efforts for peregrine falcon populations, which were endangered in Massachusetts until 2017. Meanwhile, @giuliettanardone 's "Love Warrior" aims to spread love wherever it is displayed. Nardone says the painting's use of purple "represents a blending of culture, race, opinions, and ideals.”

This mural tracks the progress of Peregrine Falcons in Massachusetts from zero nesting pairs in 1956 to around thirty today. Some of those nests are on buildings in Boston where Peregrines have ready access to pigeons and other city dwellers.

Almost done! ➡️ I was commissioned by @artsinboston@cityofboston to paint a utility box as part of their PaintBox program. All that’s left are the line work and protective coatings. The box depicts peregrine falcons, a species of Special Concern in Massachusetts, and the gains in population due to conservation efforts.
