I took inspiration from surrealist artists such as Salvador Dali when I came up with the idea for the floating eye in “EYE4EYE”. Stabbing it is a comment on the fact that everything is being watched - whether we broadcast it ourselves via our phones or surveillance via phones and Orwell’s “big brother”. It is also a reference to me taking a step towards independence by leaving the major label system and rebelling against the powers that be. GERMAN ANGST out now.

HAPPY EARTHDAY! 🙏🏽 Thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes ❤️🔥. This has been a highly transformational year and I am beyond grateful. For the new depth of my connection with God, which I found again in Mexico at @ora.tulum , for the beautiful people in my life, especially my love Jenny, helping me become a better man. For all the music I’ve been making, which I am going to release this year & for my dive into tech, allowing me to finally channel my curiosity and nerdy side into something fun and productive, solving problems us creative souls have in this new era. Between Vietnam, China, South Korea, San Francisco, Oslo, Berlin and LA in the past year, I’ve been growing, building and learning and I am beyond excited to see what this new world and chapter holds for me, for us. ☝🏽
