2025 was the year I had a big falling out with ladders. fortunately we were able to overcome our differences and climb to new heights together while working on the @thishourhas22minutes NYE Pregame Special!
anyway all these bad puns are to tell you I’m fine with ladders and that the episode airs tonight at 8pm on CBC. working on this show is a dream! this special is so dang fun! Happy New Year!!! be safe have fun love u!!!
today:
- overcame my weird feelings and just had fun for the sake of it
- ate cake on 4 separate occasions
- sang karaoke
- watched my friends sing and crush it
- had happy birthday sung to me twice at my favourite bar
- had visits with friends and colleagues that I love being around and make me feel talented and powerful and who I love and deeply admire
- was gifted a menthol (god tier shit thank u Heed)
- cracked jokes with some of my best friends
- gave and received the most swingy picky-uppy giggly sweet hugs
- saw the they/them twink chests and titties of some of my most beloved coworkers and friends
- yelled and laughed and air punched and high kicked and screamed in joy and laughter
- was 5’9” (thanks giant shoes)
- spent time with some of my most favourite human beings
