Happy Halloween! Today is exactly one year post opp and Esme is not only the most happiest and funniest little babaloo stink fart but also a warrior angel with a very strong and healthy heart thanks to Dr Bacha and Dr Juergensen and the nurses at NY Pres Columbia. Today she is our favorite magical witch Kiki and it only makes sense that I am her broom 🎃 happy first year baby girl I can’t wait to live this marvelous life with you x
Noah and I finally got to bring our sweet girl Esme (born 10/24/23) home from the NICU today and our hearts are in a constant state of explosion. We couldn’t be more in love with our little nugget, aka Es aka Berthita aka smudge. At our 20 week anatomy scan, Es was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and it has been an intense journey - one we are THRILLED to be on the other side of. Now we can welcome Esme and her special heart into the world ❤️. It is clear that nothing can get in this girls way! Not even open heart surgery. Thank you to our doctors, our families, our friends and fellow TOF parents for helping us every step of the way. We are so grateful for you and are here for you in any way that we can be.
