I recently returned from a fantastic trip to Wyoming. I had the opportunity to visit with my friend and mentor, @gregbeechamstudio and enjoyed climbing in the nearby mountains in search of bighorns with @shalesesands and @reb.knight.art . A great time was had by all! Feeling refreshed/inspired now and ready to get back in the studio to paint 😊

FOCUSED PHANTOM - GREAT GREY OWL, 12x12, oil on linen panel. This piece was inspired from my trip to northern Minnesota last winter where I froze my buttkus off photographing Great Greys. Totally worth it. It was amazing.

It’s been a great few days to say the least - I was notified that my painting, “Out on a Limb” received the 3rd Place Award in the Richeson75 Animals, Birds, & Wildlife 2025 competition! I will receive a $500 certificate for art materials from Jack Richeson & Co - awesome 😃
