I’ve been keeping this under wraps for a while and I’m thrilled to announce this today. Please join me for the Tiny Rooms Tour—an intimate run of shows in cozy spaces across my home province of Newfoundland, where the songs are stripped back and the stories take their time. I’m creating these nights to connect more deeply, to share the meaning behind the music, and to be fully present together in these smaller rooms. The average room on this tour ranges from 70-80 seats. Tickets will of course be limited, but they go on sale this Monday, May 4th (the day I was born) at the time I was born (8:43am) via my website. I’m looking forward to the quiet magic that only lives in rooms like these.
I’m in Wolfville, Nova Scotia tonight for a special Sommo Festival show at @benjaminbridge winery. And look at the line up! Rumour has it that more tickets were released after it was sold out. Grab em up!
The show at @bannermanbrewingco on June 17th has sold out but there’s a ton more places with open seats (but some with not very many).

Have you ever been somewhere and thought ‘I’d love to see a show here’ ?
About a year ago, I was visiting the Vindicator Press in Brigus, NL for the first time. I went into the back room and discovered how beautiful it was. However, I didn’t understand why more people weren’t aware of the space. It immediately made me want to play a future show in the room and soak up all the magic that already existed there.
Recently I was on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. All the power went out one night in the jungle because a tree had fallen into the road and took down some lines. This left my friends and I in a situation at our lodge where there was a just a guitar, candles, the blackness of the jungle, and us. It was the most beautiful night of music. We laughed, we cried, and it will be something we remember for a long time (see first photo).
My inquisitive moment in Brigus combined with my experience in Costa Rica got me thinking: 1. there’s so many rooms that feel like they should have music in them. 2. There’s something really special about smaller numbers of people at a show (in comparison to large theatres). From that moment on, I decided to follow my vision. My team and I started to book a more intimate tour across Newfoundland, now titled the ‘Tiny Rooms Tour’ where each night consists of songs and stories, but more up close and more connected in smaller but magical spaces. The rooms range to hold an average of 80 people. I feel like this tour will eventually make it’s way off the island, but for right now, here’s where I’ll be:
June 3 – Winterholme (St. John’s)
June 4 – Winterholme (St. John’s)
June 5 – Trinity Hall (Winterton)
June 6 – Cliff’s Edge Retreat (Bauline South)
June 11 – Cultural House (Milton)
June 12 – Karma Kafe (Newtown)
June 13 – Captain’s Pub (Twillingate)
June 17 – Bannerman Brewing Co. (St. John’s)
June 18 – The Cape Retreat (Cape Broyle)
June 19 – Private House Concert
June 20 – Vindicator Press (Brigus)
June 27 – Merchant Warehouse (Woody Point)

I haven’t felt this amped up for a tour in a long time. I’ve spent years stepping into these beautiful, unexpected spaces—rooms that just feel like music should live there—and thinking, “I want to play here.”
That’s where the idea for the Tiny Rooms Tour began, and now it’s real. These will be intimate nights of songs, stories, and the kind of connection that only happens in small rooms. Maybe it’ll travel further someday—but for now, it starts at home on June 3rd and makes its way across the island:
June 3 – Winterholme (St. John’s)
June 4 – Winterholme (St. John’s)
June 5 – Trinity Hall (Winterton)
June 6 – Cliff’s Edge Retreat (Bauline East)
June 11 – Cultural House (Milton)
June 12 – Karma Kafe (Newtown)
June 13 – Captain’s Pub (Twillingate)
June 17 – Bannerman Brewing Co. (St. John’s)
June 18 – The Cape Retreat (Cape Broyle)
June 19 – Private House Concert
June 20 – Vindicator Press (Brigus)
June 27 – Merchant Warehouse (Woody Point)

Ps. It’s my birthday.
In 2019, I put out ‘Fearless’ after @danieladamssongs and I wrote it for a movie about real life dogs that save human lives. It was featured in the @cbc Olympics closing montage in Tokyo, was picked up by @cangottalent , and I sang it live for Canada Day in Ottawa while Olympic Athletes graced the stage. Now: choirs across the world are singing it. B’ys, I wrote this in my bedroom. Like, I don’t know who that choir is in the video. Not even a little bit. What on earth. #fearless
I’m in Halifax tonight for this! I also have two free tickets for it. The first person to comment that they want them will get them! Otherwise, I do believe there’s some left online :)
