Why am I so loud?! 😂🗣️
This one is for the professional who stayed.
The Boom Era brought record numbers into real estate. 1.6 million NAR members. 620,000+ active MLOs. Then deal supply tightened and nearly half the industry disappeared. NAR is projecting a 25% drop from peak membership. Active MLOs are down 69%. In 2023, 49% of agents sold one or zero homes.
The people doing deals right now, in this market, with these conditions, are building something that can’t be shortcut. Skill under pressure is the one thing the next boom can’t hand you.
The recovery has started. Transaction volumes up 31%. Loan originations up 29%.
Boom Era professionals will come back when it’s easy. They’ll be starting over. You won’t. Stay the course.
The people I mention, I know personally. I respect what they do. Getting people to income quickly is a legitimate mission and they’re good at it!
This isn’t a rebuttal. It’s the other half of the conversation.
Money loves speed, so move with it. But real estate fundamentals are what protect what you build.
One gets you there. The other keeps you there, and you need both. 🙌🏽
A very special thank you to my beautiful friend @kelanib for putting together an incredible event in Dallas. You’re the epitome of the woman that mentions other women in a room filled with opportunities. Since I met you, you find every reason to lift me up. I pray that in our journey, I can reciprocate in an even greater way. Happy belated birthday. I’m so glad we had a chance to work, collaborate, and celebrate together today.
I pray that God blesses you in all you do. Dallas is a vibe. Pinkies up, let’s make these moves azizam. 💕♥️
With love, Padideh

The industry might be rebranding “DEI” 🙄, but impact doesn’t need a new name. I was featured in this Bisnow article, one of many they’ve released on diversity in commercial real estate, sharing how the work is still being done, just with more intention and less noise.

✨Learning CRE the Right Way ✨
At our Dallas CRE 101 Workshop, we had the privilege of watching Kelani break down the fundamentals of commercial real estate property types — and it was nothing short of eye-opening. 🔑
From retail to office, industrial to multifamily, understanding these categories is the foundation of every successful deal. Kelani reminded us that knowing the why behind each property type is just as important as knowing the what.
This is what makes W.I.R.E. workshops so powerful — real experts, real strategies, and real knowledge you can apply immediately. 🚀
💡 Missed this one? Don’t worry. Stay tuned for our next W.I.R.E. Dallas event — we can’t wait to keep building this community and helping you level up in CRE.
