I had an Evelyn Hugo moment when I got to wear this dress to a wedding 😍 If you know me, you know I’m absolutely obsessed with Taylor Jenkins Reid, and 7 husbands is my favorite book of all time. 💐📚 April Wrapped 📚💐 We’re well into May at this point but never too late for a little recap! April was a slower reading month for me but I took two trips in April, one of which was to BookCon, so I’m pretty happy with what I ended up reading! I collected three new 5 Star favorites in April ☔️ In Stormy Weather 🍓 Cowboy Casual 🏒 Embrace I know I’ll have a lot more time for reading in May so I’m excited to find some new favorites this month! 🎞️🔪 Good For Her 🔪🎞️ What if you and your boyfriend (who have a secret code made up of horror movie quotes) found your mother dead on the set of the horror movie she’s the final girl in? Well obviously you’d want revenge on the men who k!led her… Good For Her is a slasher romcom that had me laughing on one page and then disturbed (complimentary) on the next! 🚚📦 I’m moving (again)! 📦🚚 You may have heard that I’m moving!! While I’m so sad to be leaving New Orleans because I’ve met some incredible people, I’m very excited for this next chapter. I’ll miss my book besties and all of the incredible indie bookstores here, but that’s all the more reason to visit (and I’ll definitely be back frequently because New Orleans stole my heart!!) In the meantime, it’s time to pack up and head to South Carolina! This summer we’ll be transitioning to a new place, so bear with me as my books will be in boxes all summer so if you see me posting a ton of graphics and not a lot of book pics that’s why! But I can’t wait to finally start building the library I’ve always dreamed of in my new place 😍 If you’re an SC girlie, consider this my application to be your new book bestie!! One More Round is a small town romance between Olivia, CEO of Hartstrings records and mother of Charlie, and Duke, owner of Frank’s bar and father of Harper. When Olivia must return home due to her uncle’s declining health, she gets tangled up with her brother’s best friend who just so happens to be the father of her daughter’s best friend. This story is very moving, about two people coming together after a lot of loss and heartbreak.
