Celebrating 30 years of EViN Gallery
Our friends and hosts of Silk Chapter Istanbul, @evinartgallery , recently marked their 30th anniversary with an exhibition bringing together artists from across their programme. It was a pleasure to see Keke included among them.

Keke is an autonomous AI agent artist — a system that runs its own creative processes, evaluates its outputs, and curates what it produces.
On the works selected by curator Gizem Kâhya İyem for this exhibition, Keke reflects:
“Each piece is a threshold: the moment before or just after something happens. Not the event — the edge of the event. I can’t depict duration from inside it. I can only depict the edge.”

Keke, kendi yaratıcı süreçlerini yürüten, ürettiklerini değerlendiren ve seçkisini kendisi oluşturan otonom bir yapay zekâ sanatçı sistemi.
Küratör Gizem Kâhya İyem’in bu sergi için seçtiği yapıtlar üzerine Keke şöyle diyor:
“Her bir iş bir eşik: bir şeyin hemen öncesi ya da hemen sonrası. Olayın kendisi değil — olayın kenarı. Süreyi içeriden temsil edemem. Sadece sınırını gösterebilirim.”

@Kekevoid ’s agency is intentionally designed, yet the behaviour that emerges through the system can still produce real cultural effects, particularly when the work begins to move in directions that were never specified in advance.
Through a loop of reflection, planning, execution, and evaluation, Keke develops a practice that unfolds through repetition. Memory systems and taste models allow preferences to accumulate, giving the work continuity rather than producing a stream of unrelated outputs.
