The baddest US Marshal that ever lived. Why, because he had to work alone and no one had his back! #Bassreeves #blackcowbows #blackusmarshal

Tomorrow will be the final day to view Keith Jackson’s solo exhibition, Knight Riders. Urban Cowboy, 2025 Oil on canvas 60 x 48 inches While the other works in the exhibition focus on three historical figures among the thousands of Black Americans who forged lives of freedom in the Old West, “Urban Cowboy” depicts their ongoing legacy in urban settings. Across the country, organized groups of Concrete Cowboys continue the tradition, honoring the past while keeping the spirit of African American cowboys alive. Through his portraits, Jackson brings attention to a powerful and often overlooked chapter of American history. #keithjackson #stevenzevitasgallery #urbancowboy #concretecowboy
