What a great experience and what a lovely bunch of hard working tool loving people like myself. Thanks Gilbert Roy for reaching out. Show day AND travel day. Last night, 2 hours to load in. 12,000 pounds of equipment in a trailer; Three hours of performance. One hour breakdown and load out. Got back on the road for a lovely 8-9 hour drive after the show. I’ve only got 14 snacks left. Terrified by what may come🎵 TONIGHT…Winnipeg..SOLD OUT SHOW …sad, just two more shows on this tour! I’m leaving this group of friends I now call family to come back home; but it’s time, I miss my schism brothers and you all. Time to get back and complete Schism’s run of shows ending yet once again in Hawaii, this time doing the Puscifer afterparties, very very grateful and very thankful I’ve gotten to do this as long as I have. I don’t know many friends who’ve had the same job for 25 years and actually enjoyed the work. I’m all in. One of the most difficult and hardest things I’ve ever come to know. Helps you taste the sour so you can enjoy the sweet. I’m really gonna miss these hard working wonderful people who have let me into their band, entrusting me to handle the job, taking a chance on a crazy American (who loves Tool as much as they do). One more show after this one tonight and my job here is complete. @_simstpierre I’ve warmed your band up, they are ready for ya to swoop back in and crush. Thank you for this experience. You will always have a place to visit in USA, I will never forget this experience or these shows. I’m like a well oiled machine right now. I have never been more prepared or rehearsed.
