If you're going to catch a PB what better to do it on one of the lure colour that you conissioned.
A 5lb14oz perch on a Keitech Easy Shiner in KTW01 Bubbglegum Sparkle.
Recently whilst out in Holland with good friend @matt_boast we were casting around a shallow plateau in search of perch, I pinged off a long cast and on the drop this perch hammered the lure as I controlled its slow decent, not dissimilar to how I'd fish for zander I was initially not sure until the fish started shaking its head, a telltale sign of a perch, a big perch!
The fish for 2/3rds of the fight was subdued switch no real runs as it saw the boat however it put up a spirited fight which got the heart racing, I knew it was a PB as soon as I saw it, quite how big it was I didn't realise until it was in the boat.
Another PB for me and another on Keitech.
