Today we say a huge thank you to Lynn for her many years of hard work and dedication running Section One at Kehelland. 🌸
Lynn managed the bedding section with incredible care and pride, working with the trainees to make beautiful hanging baskets and stunning bouquets that brought joy to everyone who visited. Her organisation, attention to detail, and high standards allowed the trainees to learn, grow and flourish.
Lynn has been a valued part of the team, and both the staff and trainees will miss her so much. Thank you for everything you have done over the years and for all the support, kindness, and knowledge you shared along the way.
Wishing you the very best of luck and happiness in this exciting new chapter of your life. 💐

At Kehelland Trust we run many orchard-related workshops throughout the year.
It won't be long until we start summer budding and the summer prune of the espalier orchards.
This image was sent in to us by a grafting workshop participant who grafted this, their first ever apple tree at our workshop in March 2024, then funded by Forest for Cornwall.
The joy of this Burmese Bounty goes beyond the fact that it's a really good looking apple - it also tastes great - light & crisp with just a moderate acidity. It makes fantastic juice and of course, we love its story.
We had the honour of welcoming to Kehelland a group of pioneering women growers from Myanmar who risk their lives to grow food for, and support families who have been displaced by war.
They have had two visits to us now and on their first visit a couple of years ago they were able to assist in the harvest of Burmese Bounty, process it into juice and take it back to Myanmar the next day. It was such a special time.

Today we celebrate and say a heartfelt thank you to Wendy for the years of hard work, dedication, and care she has given to everyone at Kehelland.
Wendy, you’ve been at the heart of what makes this place so special — always welcoming, always kind, and always bringing a warmth that could brighten the busiest of days. You made everyone feel included, valued, and truly part of the team.
Your positivity and friendship have left a lasting mark on all of us, and Kehelland simply won’t be the same without you.
From everyone at Kehelland, thank you for everything you’ve done. We’ll miss you more than words can say, and we wish you all the very best for the future 💛

Thank you so much to each and every one of you who has supported our fundraiser so far. Not only are we half way to our target, but our Goretti Bounce Back Benefit Gig has raised an additional £1922.41, so we're even closer!
Support has not just been on this crowdfund page, but on the ground, in personal donations, by using our Camborne shop and coming on site to buy plants and enjoy our events.
We have now tackled around 1/4 of all the felled trees on site which have been cut up and stored with the smaller wood chipped for use across site to cover paths and provide mulch for our crops and trees.
We have had a donation of broadleaved trees from the Grower (thank you!) which we can use to start planting new shelter belts, plus we can start to use some of the alder grown on site by our learners too.
But we still have so much more work to do.
As soon as the wind dies down a bit we'll start re-skinning our tunnels to see if we can still get our annual tomato crop in. Failing to have these plants in the ground will have an added impact on our organisation as we rely very heavily on our summer protected veg crop sales - we're very well known for our delicious tomatoes!!!
Please do continue to spread the word to people you think may be able to help us reach our target and again, huge gratitude for all the donations we have received so far. We do feel blessed to have this support.
