I always love to paint a figure, boob’d too. This time, it’s me.
A study of home: internal, external, maybe even extraterrestrial. And the strange duality of feeling both empowered and vulnerable at once
I recently discovered Tarsila de Amaral and simultaneously that we speak the same language of rounded figures, gradients and of course misshapen boobies. I feel happy seeing the resemblances. This piece is intentionally inspired by Tarsila.
Woke up today and HAD TO FINISH THIS PAINTING. Is there a better feeling than the intense draw to the studio, painting a n@ked wild woman living her best life on beautiful Belgian linen and listening to 80s music? After 2 coffees too eheheheh best things in life + dorky dancing to finish it off
My largest oil painting yet is a reflection of me and most “me” painting yet. My soul feels seen! Do you feel it?
