My baby girl True’s birthday is over, but I still wanted to share this incredible moment. She’s getting so big and beautiful, and seeing this happening right here in front of my eyes is unbelievable. Being a girl dad is my greatest accomplishment, and I love it.

During the Mid 90s, there was so much talent on the uprise, It was an exciting time in R&B where there were so many groups out at the time but there was a Chicago quartet making its rounds through the streets that stood out.
Subway, 4 Boys who were signed by Michael Bivins through his Biv 10 label! Michael Bivins, being from a group of guys knew what they needed and what it took to make them succeed. Their 1994 classic single “This Lil’ Game We Play” , which y’all may remember, was cowritten by Gerald Levert and featured 702 before their eventual blow up.
Their album “Good Times” 30 years ago, in 1995. This album is arguably one of the most underrated R&B albums of that time, In my opinion it separated Subway from their counterparts, leverybody in this group held their own, their voices were amazing together and could also stand alone if needed. Their voices were extremely mature for their age which surprised and shocked a lot of listeners!
After years of not being available on streaming, I can say as of yesterday, Subways album is available to stream everywhere, so everyone who basked in the glory of This Lil Game We Play, Fire, Good Times, Chi Town Ride and all of those amazing songs in the years past, can do so again!
