Never thought id have to say good bye this soon in life oni. I wish I could give you another call or another hug just to tell you I love you. I was fortunate to have you in life and as one of my closest friends.
So many memories from an early age like this photo, at the beach. One of the very reasons I started surfing was because I had a partner in you that wanted to surf. We always talked and dreamed of being a pro surfer🤣 thankfully our dads were able to get us together on school breaks to make sure we were always surfing together. Your dad would rip outside Haleiwa while we rode white water waves for hours.
Then you’d come in looking for sunrise shells, then make little dirt bike tracks in the sand, and then skateboard, all while I was just trying to keep up. Long story short you were good at almost everything and I wasn’t even close! Haha you always had everyone in laughter and that’s how I’ll always remember you.
If I could share every story I’d be here for days writing a book. I’m very thankful for every moment I got to share with you, I’ll hold these memories close to my heart. Remembering the happiness and joy I got as young kid learning to surf is something I’ll get to Cherish for the rest of my life that will remind me of you.
I’m so proud of you, I never got to tell you that enough. I love you, and you always have a special place in my heart Oni.
