Corners: The Table — Magazine The simple act of sitting together at a table fosters a sense of community and connection that has been a hallmark of civilization for centuries. Coming together. With social isolation becoming a thing more and more, not every night is ended with social interaction around a table having meal, talk or games. The table is the silent witness to countless human interactions, both mundane and profound. From meals to political negotiations, the table has always been a grounding force — something that anchors important moments in time. Eating at a table is often seen as a very formal, even civilized act — a sign that we value the relationships we nourish in the process. Anything can be used as a table. The table is not defined by its form. A sturdy piece of wood, a stack of books (or this magazine), even a large stone — each can serve the purpose of grounding our lives in practical ways. Its adaptability is one of the table’s most powerful features. No matter the shape, size, or material, the table remains a universal symbol of unity and purpose. In it simplest form, a table brings people together. It’s where we gather to share food, ideas, and companionship. It’s where we pause, regroup, and reflect. It’s where decisions are made and relationships are built. Whether used in a home, an office, or a political summit, a table serves as a reminder that some of the most important aspects of life happen when people come together — sometimes to eat, sometimes to talk, but always to connect. Designed, written and bound.

Overwhelmed & Understimulated televisions, DVD- and mediaplayers, video’s After being surrounded by fake data, an abundance of social media platforms, existential thoughts, brain rot, TikTok self-diagnosing and constantly having to adapt to the latest meme language, we finally found a way to navigate the digital landscape! Never mind… it changed again. Is it my best friend, or my worst enemy? Who are we online? Are we a hyperbole of ourself? Am I even real within this overconsumption of sources, and how do these sources shape my identity? When will the digital world cease to exist? Or will it be a part of us forever? Does the algorithm know who I really am inside? On show @ag.hku june 6th - june 28th
