[LA] #losangeles A Cinematic Journey Through Korean Film History The Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles, in collaboration with the Korean Film Archive (KOFA), presents Frames of Korea Through Films, a classic film cinematheque series exploring the history and evolution of Korean cinema. Featuring six landmark films from the 1960s to the 2000s, the series offers a unique opportunity to experience Korean cinema in dialogue with its social, cultural, and historical contexts. From post-war realism to contemporary cinematic voices, each screening highlights pivotal moments in Korea’s film history. The program includes Aimless Bullet (1961), The Road to Sampo (1975), Come Come Come Upward (1989), A Walk in the Rain (1994), Incoherence (1994), and Save the Green Planet! (2003).
