DID YOU KNOW: No Pedestrians, Bicycles, Motorcycles and Tricycles are permitted to use the Clock Tower Flyover and Nsambya underpass.
The restricted categories are catered for in the following alternatives:
Entebbe Road allows passage for Bicycles, Motorcycles with an engine capacity of less than 400cc, Motorized and non-motorized tricycles and Trucks/vehicles (trucks) exceeding 7.5 tonnes taking Entebbe Road direction.
At the Nsambya underpass, dedicated side roads and a wide walkway at the Nsambya Underpass are available on either side for the restricted categories.
The Clock Tower Pedestrian Bridge provides safe crossing for pedestrians.
Displaying and/or vending merchandise along the walkways of these roads is STRICTLY prohibited.

In a major crackdown against child exploitation in Kampala, we rescued 157 children and arrested 18 adults who were allegedly using minors to beg on the streets.
The operation followed the implementation of the Kampala Capital City Child Protection Ordinance 2022, a landmark law aimed at curbing child abuse, street begging, and trafficking in the city.
