You look happier… Thanks—I just made pasta from scratch at Zero Zero! 🍝✨ Located in the Westside neighborhood in Kansas City, a cooking class at Zero Zero needs to be on your summer bucket list. If you’re looking for a unique date night, girls’ night, or solo adventure, this class is a 10/10 recommend. Super fun experience, delicious food, and the neighborhood gives such cool vibes with other restaurants like @clayandfirekc , @fairwaycreamery , and @thewestsidelocal . With only 10 indoor seats and a cozy patio, it’s the kind of spot you’ll want to book well in advance—reservations fill up fast (like, a month out!). I can’t wait to come back for dinner on a crisp fall night under the string lights. 🌙🍷 𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙢𝙚?! 📍1702 Summit St. | KCMO @zerozeropastakc Kansas City, Cooking Class, KC Restaurants, Zero Zero Restaurant, Westside, KCMO #KansasCityEats #KCFoodie #locatekc #KCLocal #KansasCityFood #KCInsta #EatKC #KCSpot #MidwestEats #locatekc #locateyourplace #visitmo #visitkc #explorekc

As with so many of my dancer friends and collegues, I too am saddened to hear of the passing of Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux. He graciously employed me for 8 summers to dance with his Chautauqua Ballet Company. I attribute so much of my early growth and development as a professional dancer to what I learned there. I was given opportunities to dance ballets there first which I know allowed me to excel in my home company. For 6 weeks in the summer he brought together a small group of extremely talented professionals from all over the country and created this special company of dancers who lived, rehearsed, and performed together. The choreographers, teachers and and coaches brought in to work with us are amoungst the best in the world. He expected everyone to work hard, but he also allowed us to have fun, make mistakes, take risks and learn from them. His smile was large and his heart was larger. He cared about his dancers greatly especially his ballerinas and you knew when you weren't meeting his expectations. Through his example, his coaching and his classes, he would guide you to find ways to approach your work differently or more effectively. He was a gentle giant to me and I wanted to please him immensely. I looked up to him and respected him so much. His mark on the dance world and on those fortunate enough to work for him is huge. Thank you JP for all you have given us and the world if ballet. You will be missed and never forgotten. 🙏💕
