Harass & Probe A look into one of the key missions conducted during Swift Bugle 2. This phase focused on high-mobility harassment and probing operations. The objective was to force the enemy to reveal their defensive layout, identify fortified positions, and disrupt their command and control. Precision, timing, and rapid egress were essential to the success of this mission. I had to execute tactical maneuvers to keep the opposition on the back foot.

Me and my team, the Counter-UAS Targets and Training Team (CTTT) deployed alongside The Rifles on Exercise Swift Bugle. Using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), the team conducted tracking and 'hunting' operations against the Rifles. As a training team, we assisted The Rifles in developing their skills in camouflaging themselves against thermal imaging drones. We also provided guidance on how to deal with FPV one-way attack drones, which is crucial for enhancing their battlefield awareness and survivability against aerial threats. #CounterUAS #drones #fpvdrone

Proud to share a glimpse into our vital work with the Counter UAS Targets and Training Team (CTTT) in the British Army.
Alongside two exceptional teammates, we designed and built these two bespoke drones the fixed-wing target UAV and the high-speed FPV drone from the ground up. These platforms are crucial assets, allowing us to replicate the complex and evolving threat posed by enemy UAVs, a lesson heavily underscored by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and the persistent threat against Allied nations.
This hands-on development capability ensures that our counter-UAS soldiers receive the most realistic and current training available, directly preparing them to counter the latest tactical threats in the operational environment.
