On the 22nd of May, during our KB_ night at Plantage Dok, we’ll kick off the event with the screening of Tra Fasi 📺
Tra Fasi is a short documentary exploring Suriname’s hidden alternative punk and rock scene. The film follows musician and artist Shavero Ferrier in his attempt to build a creative underground culture in Paramaribo. Director Charity Charly will be present for an introduction and Q&A.
Join us early for dinner and the screening, then we proceed with live music all night!

Independent artistic collective KB_ joins Lokaal & SITP for a collaborative event at Plantage Dok, presenting: live performances by G-tje & the Boys and Phantom Wizard, the documentary Tra Fasi about Suriname’s hidden alternative punk and rock scene, and a closing DJ set by Pedro da Mata.
Starting at 18.30, you can join us for a fresh dinner: tahini cold noodles with vegetable toppings and sliced fried egg (optional)

Today is the day Im finally releasing my live EP with my stress relief PUNK/JAZZ/FREE project “YED” with the help of @kbstuff999 , which I am very grateful to be a part of.
“YED” is an absolute yes to everything. With that “just send it” energy, blending elements from free improv, instant composing, punk and jazz. It’s been something I wanted to do for a long time and Im happy it’s finally out!
Also in the post there are some throwbacks to the gig we had at OCCII a month or so ago.
