Morning practice.
When I want colours to blend almost seemlessly I usually add a lot of pigment and a lot of water accordingly. It takes awhile to dry but in the sunny weather like today (and NZ sun intensity) it’s perfect timing for experiments like that. I love watching pigment dancing in the flow of water, some times I just sit and watch, and get inspired but the movement and reflection.

What I love about watercolour is a chance to let go of control. It helps me to find alignment with my core, unleash the wildest forms and fantasies. Watercolour is also very humbling, you are always a co-creator. Water, air temperature, sun exposure and so many more elements are contributing to the result, you’re simply left to observe and admire, and accept whatever happens at the end.

This one I painted during an art class when @jodalgety told us to play. So I played. /Watercolour & India Ink/
