Jade… 21. That just doesn’t seem possible.
Watching you grow into the woman you are today has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. You have this quiet determination about you. When things get hard, you don’t complain. You figure it out. You push through. And somehow you always rise again, stronger than before. Like a phoenix, but in your own way.
You’ve never taken the easy road. From getting your hands dirty with mechanics to pouring your heart into your art, you do things fully. That’s what I admire most. You care deeply. You work hard. You stay true to yourself.
I love our time in the kitchen, our talks, your laugh, your spark. You’ve brought so much light into my life and you probably don’t even realize how much.
I’m so proud of you. Not just for what you do, but for who you are.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 23 years already. After five long years of hoping and waiting, you came into our lives and changed everything. From that moment on, you’ve been a constant source of laughter, pride, and joy.
You’ve grown into someone who is not only smart and beautiful, but kind, creative, and thoughtful in a way that makes people feel truly seen and appreciated. That’s just who you are.
Watching you pursue bioscience engineering and take on everything that comes with it makes me incredibly proud. You’ve always had something special in you, and it’s amazing to see where it’s taking you.

Received a pretty cool message from a high school friend that she saw me on “See No Evil” while watching TV OMG. I made an appearance on See No Evil — Season 10, Episode 9 (‘Angel of Death’).
I’m the surgeon in the episode.
Pretty mindblowing to have a high school friend message me saying she just saw me on TV. Thanks Andrea Blunsdon! I didn’t even know it was out. Lol.
It’s a documenrary about a hospital ICU that sees a series of sudden patient deaths, and surveillance footage reveals a nurse secretly injecting air into patients.

Spartan Beast 21K - Blue Mountain. The plan was just to run the 10K, But when asked if i would do the 21K Beast, I went for it. Never say next time!
That was intense!! Seven climbs and descents on Blue Mountain. Steep, humbling, and honestly a little scary at times. Some of those downhills were so steep people were sliding down on their butts. I saw a few twisted ankles out there.
The trails were rough, rocky, and uneven. One long stretch through the forest was nothing but tree roots. Every step took focus just to stay on my feet. I was out there for over six hours on the hills and more than 36,000 steps later, I crossed that finish line sore, bruised, and inspired.
That’s probably the last race of 2025 (maybe)… but I’m not done training yet.
Excited for the game plan for 2026. I’ll be getting stronger, faster, and putting some new strategies into play. I’m excited to see how far I can take it.

Hyrox 2025 - Race 35 🏁
Last year I did Hyrox doubles — but this time, I decided to take on the challenge of a solo race to mix things up.
There were moments I wondered if I bit off more than I could chew.
Certainly can’t say it’s getting easier with age — but that’s exactly what’s making me more determined.
This one was a challenge. I burned over 1,800 calories and felt every bit of it.
Illness, fatigue, aches and pains, and the mental hurdles all tried to slow me down.
But I showed up! Bring it!
Every rep, every stride, every drop of sweat reminded me that growth doesn’t come from comfort.
I started training for this race chasing time.
Now, I’m chasing longevity, training smarter, building resilience, and preparing my body and mind for future races.
My first solo was a test, and it lit a fire.
I’m even more determined to keep improving, especially my running, for the next one.

Ten years ago, I hit rock bottom.
I was sick, frail — 145 pounds and wearing size 29 jeans.
No strength. No direction. Just Broken.
Then @shaun_howard_007 dragged me out of the dark. “Train for a 21 km Tough Mudder,” he said. THANK YOU ❤️!
I thought it was insane… but I needed something.
So I trained.
No real plan — just grit. Running telephone pole to telephone pole to start. Eventually running several kilometers. Running, lifting, dragging myself forward.
And then it happened.
Through mud, over fences, under barbed wire, through tear gas and live electrical wires —
I pushed past every limit I thought I had.
That race didn’t just test me. It changed me. I was hooked, I found my passion.
Since then? Spartan, Bone Frog (Navy Seal) Hyrox and many others. 34 races and events later… I’m still going.
And I’m just getting started. Aroo!

Saying Goodbye to Sugar 💔
Today, we said goodbye to our faithful dog, Sugar, after 16 ½ amazing years.
I’ll never forget Christmas 16 years ago when we picked her out of the litter, tucked her into my coat, and brought her home to surprise my son. Tears of joy flowed that day, and from then on, she became part of our family story.
Sugar grew up alongside the kids and Spice — the two of them were inseparable. Just six months ago, we said goodbye to Spice, and now Sugar can join her in doggy heaven.
Thank you, Sugar, for filling our lives with so much love, joy, and loyalty. We all love you deeply and will miss you forever. 🐾❤️
☀️ OMG!!! Woke up to an amazing sunrise and a calm ocean, so I grabbed a paddleboard because …. I “never say next time.” The fish were jumping, pelicans were gliding above me, and then I heard a swoosh—dolphins!!! Six dolphins were swimming alongside me. It was pure magic!! That was incredible!
