Delighted to announce A GOOD DEATH’s official selection to the Montevideo Fantástico Film Festival in Montevideo, Uruguay! This will mark our (triumphant!) South American premiere, and we’re so grateful to Juan Pablo Aguirre and all the rest of the programmers and staff for this exciting honor.
We want to give a special shout out to AGD VFX maestro Efrain Perez who also created the spanish translations that will be used for this screening. Delighted to now know that the English idiom “like three peas in a pod” translates to “like three droplets of water” in Spanish, which is objectively adorable.

As you may have noticed, our handle has changed! As we wind down A GOOD DEATH’s festival run, we wanted to rebrand this account to represent our small but mighty production company, Shiny Saws. Why Shiny Saws, you ask? Well:
shiny - fresh and original; newly made or obtained
saw - from Old English saga; story, tale, saying, narrative, tradition
We make movies.
Shiny Saws is loose coalition of filmmakers and storytellers in LA and beyond and we’re already gearing up to shoot our next film.
Sci-fi/ horror short SCREAMER tells the story of two scientists who are running a home grown tech start up when they begin to realize the prototype they’re developing may be malfunctioning in a terrifying way.
Shooting is planned for June 2026.

It would be an egregious understatement to say that the A GOOD DEATH team is bummed to be missing @panicfilmfest but at least we can rest somewhat easier knowing this amazing TABITHA… BASEBALL CARD??? exists!?!?
