I started this project nearly a year ago and I’m so grateful to @docu.magazine for giving me the push I needed to get my work printed as a DOCU special edition, print is not dead!
The images in this book mean a lot to me, the project has a contemporary focus on natural spaces both in London and my homeland, Türkiye.
If you would like to purchase a signed copy of this book please feel free to direct message me - I appreciate the support!

The Berzeg tamga & family home -
The Berzegs were the “Princes of Ubykhia” and one of the most elite Circassian clans. By carrying a physical stamp of this tamga, the owner was explicitly signaling their noble (Pshi) status. In the diaspora communities of the early 20th century, this was not just about vanity; it was a way to maintain traditional social hierarchies and authority even after losing their ancestral lands in the Caucasus.
