There’s something super vulnerable about building @COMPLIMIST in public especially after sharing content for 15+ years online. Sharing the “why” & “how” before the “what” is ready. But I want to share what’s in my heart with you, because COMPLIMIST didn’t begin as a want or need to start a beauty brand. It began as a conversation, a feeling. I think back to that lunch with my dear @aslikarakeben & @minaleelondon where everything quietly shifted for me, the DMC about compliments. All those times we give them so freely, yet struggle to receive them. It planted a seed that became COMPLIMIST. A huge thank you goes out to Asli & Mina, because that DMC changed more than just my perspective. It shaped the foundations of this brand. To the incredible team at @gloadigital , thank you for helping me translate something deeply personal into a digital world that feels thoughtful & intentional. Your guidance & expertise has allowed this vision to take form without losing its heart 🤍 I’m forever in gratitude to you! To @almightybrands , thank you for the care, the patience & beautiful branding that I can’t wait to share with the world. You understood the energy, the purpose & the emotion. @COMPLIMIST has been keeping me busy! 2025 was so eye opening into what it takes to be a brand founder (with no investment as well). I had ideas coming out my brain, knowledge and information going into! And not to mention money coming out my bank account every month BUT a heart filled with purpose & gratitude that I get to put my passion into something so much bigger than me. 2026 is about building COMPLIMIST even further. Tweaking and finalising the launch scents. Sampling packaging. Photoshoots. Website development. And actually having the final products ready for you!
