Musing with my mom’s doll. Shes a star. Net mask. Light. Eyes wide open. Eyes wide shut. Her choice. Paired with the magnanimous Elaine Stritch. Who I discovered originally in my late teens, through the movie Providence by Alain Resnais.
My childhood doll Susie. Draped in plastic, light, rope, glass, lace. Arm pointed to the heavens. Paired with Perrey & Kingsley’s version of Carousel Of The Planets.
My pioneer dolls. Plastic from a cognac bottle.
Paired with Perrey & Kingsley’s version of Winchester Cathedral. When I was 18, I moved to California and this was one of the few records I brought. When I took this photo all I could think about was this song. Something about their shirts.

Studies with my mom’s childhood doll. Family heirloom for me. Going round and round. Ball jar. Cheese cloth. Sitting. Her eyes amaze me. As a child, I remember her always sitting alone. Like she had served. I now have her. I am so glad.
Experiment with glass, plastic, book-light, myself. Looking into the crystal ball! Remembering. Paired with an excerpt of Limbo, narrated by Jim Henson, music Raymond Scott.
More. With walnut guy, light, glass, plastic, and sketch backdrop.
Paired with Raymond Scott’s The Paperwork Explosion - which continues to be an incredibly relevant piece. This was the soundtrack for the film directed by Jim Henson for IBM in 1967.
