my popo is the most incredible person i've been blessed to love and share this life with. she was the most eccentric, adventurous, stylish, and vivacious person i knew, with so much passion for life and endless love to give. she was an incredible artist and had such a talent for painting and making her own clothes, even winning awards for some of her artwork over the years. popo somehow knew everyone and had friends everywhere, even around the world, and her impact on everyone she knew has only become more evident after she left us. these past ten days without her have been the hardest, and it still feels like she could walk through the door at any moment after 7am ping pong or with pastries she bought for us from the bakery. i'm incredibly heartbroken that she's no longer here with us, but i can still feel her presence everywhere i go, especially in the roses that grow in our garden. her favorite flower. i will miss her laugh, her hugs, her cooking, and her love. i can only hope that i live my life as fully and as wonderfully as she did hers.
