I always thought it was over romanticized. I couldn’t have been further from the truth.
3 days. Just me. No plans. Booked a week before hand. No prior research. Wandering around riding trains eating soft cheeses and drinking wine and talking to incredible (not rude) people.
Just go. You’ll be fine. And you’ll be changed on a cellular level.
And take an extra train to go find the famous chocolate mousse.
For a year that began as the worst of my life; there were a ton of really beautiful days with incredible people.
I mean for fucks sake I released baby turtles into the ocean. That’s rad as hell.
For a weird work year there are some true diamonds I can be really proud of.
