I'm still a little in shock. #MichaelMadsen has always had a special place in my heart. We first met at a Chicago event, where we instantly connected. He wanted me to study everything about Billie Frechette (John Dillinger's girlfriend) in the hopes we could make this movie together. When it fell apart, he remembered me for a crazy little movie called "Executive Target" in which I played his estranged wife. Michael played a trick on me during that shoot, and I swore to him I would eventually get him back. I was hoping to find a clever way while shooting American Badass, but the promise got postponed. Michael really went to bat for me, more than a couple times. He was funny, wildly talented, truthful, and as real as it gets. I have never forgotten his generosity and support and connection. My heart feels broken. And I am so deeply sad for his family and wide circle of friends. RIP, my one-in-a-million friend. You were already my secret hero. 💙😔🎬
