’Perennial‘ is finally out! 🌟🌟🌟 I poured my heart and soul into this debut album. I hope it makes you feel something. I cannot thank the many people who are part of this enough. My family for financial and emotional support, my friends for all the small and big things they did to support me with this. I have met the most amazing and kind people on this journey, thank you to all of them! One of them being @ma.lu.j who designed beautiful motives for these songs (more on that soon). Thank you @jeffthomas_fmof for believing in me! I thank @lpipertown and Marie for joining me on stage and supporting me with their instruments during my live shows! I thank @seasonalfruit.eu for their help and brillante work on my graphic design. I thank @fubi_schr and @emelyhedel who started this project with me. @georgepatti76 for recording my songs with me and adding his own instruments to two of them. I thank @mirjadirnein for producing most of the album alongside me and understanding me on every level. Heute stellen wir mit KATHI DEAKIN eine ganz besondere Künstlerin für die Maifeld Edition vor. Kathi ist quasi ein Eigengewächs aus der Crew d’amour und hat beim Maifeld Derby u.a. im Deko Team gearbeitet. Fürs letzte Derby hatte sie sich auch beworben, aber beim „drüberhören“ schien mir das zu fragil für den damals letzten offenen Slot. Obwohl ich das musikalisch schon richtig gut fand. So richtig kennengelernt hab ich Kathi dann montags nach dem Derby. Nach diesem bewegenden Wochenende sind da auch ein paar Tränchen gekullert, die mir auch nochmal klargemacht haben wie wertvoll dieser Ort war. Danke, Kathi! Genau deshalb geht’s ja nun auch hobbymäßig und mit kleineren Brötchen im Ofen weiter. Kathi hat ein wirklich sehr schönes Album gemacht, das wie eine warme Umarmung wirkt.
