Last year, my mum was sadly diagnosed with cancer. Today, I’m so grateful to say she’s been on the mend, and together we’re taking on hiking a marathon this July.
This challenge is about more than the miles. It’s about celebrating resilience, honouring every nurse who cared for my mum with compassion, patience and strength, and showing our deepest thanks to those who supported her through treatment and recovery.
