I had a little skin cancer scare recently. Don’t worry, I’m totally fine and they got all of it. But in honor of #MelanomaMonday, here are 3 things I’m taking very seriously now: 1️⃣ Know your skin. Pay attention to new spots or anything changing in size, shape, or color. Mine started as a tiny spot on my arm, but it kept getting bigger and darker, and my gut knew something was off. 2️⃣ Get an annual skin check. It’s quick, easy, and thorough (yes, even between your toes and under your nails). That’s how they caught my Stage 0 melanoma early, and removed it with a simple procedure. 3️⃣ Wear sunscreen. Seriously. I could’ve been better about it, and I’ve had some bad burns over the years. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of them led to this 🌞 If you want me to share more about what I learned or the removal process (there’s actually some really interesting chemistry involved), just let me know!  ⛱️
