i’ll admit this is a hot & debatable take but honestly, i think feminism looks different to everyone - especially depending on your generation. i came of age in the 90s when heroin chic models were the paragon and everything geared toward my subset was centered on how we were perceived by boys. so yeah, i’ll take confident & cheeky femininity in my 40s (i’ll also take olivia rodrigo handing out plan b at her shows like a total unbothered boss). i could live without the MBF album cover but YA KNOW. girlie pops are giving.
alert! we finally replaced our broken record player (major thanks, @bororecordsfreehold ) and I will henceforth be insufferable!
nah but really, I’ve been starting my mornings by picking one side of one album & making silly lil artwork of some lyrics while I listen before delving into my massive pile of work. a hobbyist’s zen garden!
long story short, today it was side 3 of evermore.
Had a fabulous time at the @njla_conf conference at the Hard Rock Hotel in Atlantic City last week. Looking forward to next year!
Had fun walking around the hotel and seeing the costunea and guitars on display and all the yummy food
