#katefarmspartner For years, we were told Hannah would “grow out of it,” but somehow, in the same breath, we were sent home with samples of nutritional shakes after every visit.
I remember telling the doctor, if she can’t eat, you think she’s going to drink this? And the response was always the same, just keep trying. So they sat in our pantry untouched.
When Hannah finally started therapy for ARFID, we learned something that changed everything. A starving brain can’t make progress. Weight restoration wasn’t optional, it was the starting point.
