it is very personal
i am a proud daughter of immigrants
from parents who crossed before they were 18, left their families behind, no education higher than middle and high school, built all that they are and all that my siblings and i are from the ground up, all so our family could have a better chance than they ever would’ve. everything we have lived and accomplished was only possible because of them.
now more than ever living and leading with empathy and wishing everyone, families, communities safety and lots of love <333

forever grateful for all those around me that keep me going. just some parts of my life this year that i loved and wanted to share (no dance videos for once haha) i love you guys—thank you for all the special moments. wish i could’ve captured more with more people—hopefully i’ll get better at this next year. sorry it wouldn’t let me tag everyone 🫂
the takeaway is i don’t know how to say no
never taking for granted the times i get to learn from and dance with friends. had so many opportunities to do so this year and i’ve never felt so lucky to do what i love with the people i love. please check out all slides of my talented friends and their fire pieces!!!
also wanted to start off the post with my choreo day piece i never fully posted. it’s always such a super scary feeling sharing something of my own but it was something i was proud of so why not put it out there. super super grateful for @anton_jn and @korbin.ryan for helping me last minute sesh it before the workshop, you guys definitely helped me get all the teaching nerves out. and super super grateful for @kin.aluh coming all the way down to irvine and assisting me, it was a lot less scarier having a great friend by my side. love and appreciate you guys so much <333
a collab turned to a farewell collab. my class buddy, the bay is so lucky to get you back but move back eventually please haha. so glad we finally got around to creating together, you have no choice but to come back for another. definitely won’t be long before we dancing together again ☝️🫡

was gonna wait to post this on the one year but it’s already so overdue the 11 month mark is good enough. and i was listening to the song today and it made me miss this and her so much. forever grateful for @gooddanceco for inviting us to teach together, nothing will ever beat creating and dancing with my best friend. this piece holds so much of our shared experiences and memories we had last year, we couldn’t have made something that was more “us.” she doesn’t have ig rn but will forever make it known how much i love and appreciate her. my person till the very end <333
