My little lady. My little soulmate in animal form. My fierce 4.5 pound protector. I’ve experienced a lot of unimaginable loss but this one really hits hard. She was like an extension of me. Lady loved three people the most in this world— me, my mom and dad (nick was a close fourth but it took a good six months for her to even acknowledge him.) She was very particular about who she loved but when she chose you, she loved hard. 24 hours after her 16th birthday it was her time to go. She’s now with two of her faves— most likely doing little heavenly spinnies, licking my mom’s knee incessantly and lurking under someone’s legs in the kitchen hoping they’ll drop some food.
