Okay for real, shooting weddings is HARD for my sensitive brain. Long hours, self-inflicted perfectionist pressure, social and cognitive load, sensory over stimulation, heavy equipment.. When my body and brain ache I have moments of OK, I think this is my last season, IM DONE. 15 years is a very good run I’d say. But when I look back on each season my little heart goes, but… but… its so damn rewarding and fun and love-filled 🥹 and you love what you do don’t lie!
I’m trying to be as real as possible here. It’s work. And I’m lucky. This app has made sharing… quite annoying. But I still want to share. I’m trying to figure out how. Maybe this is my last year. Maybe not. Maybe I keep quietly shooting and focusing on my couples and not on this app. I’m not sure. I just know that honesty is important to me, in art and business. So here is my current honest truth. I’m excited for this next season. I’m nervous about the future. And I love working with every single one of you ❤️
I’m taking on less weddings and being far more selective about them, for the sake of my health and for the sake of what I want to offer you with my art and presence. But I’m still here and I can’t wait to work with you if this all resonates with you! Just a fellow ND artist giving what I can 🧌😌

It’s really very cool to witness love’s evolution, don’t you think? In revisiting this oldie but goodie with J+P, seeing how love changes and grows and morphs. Time is a strange little thing. In the last ~10ish I got to shoot their pre-engagement time, then engagement, wedding, pregnancy and growing family with baby P 🥰 can hardly believe it’s been this long you three! ❤️
While we shot, Allie and I talked about her pregnancy and how embodied and present she felt, for the first time in her life, as a neurodivergent person who was fairly disconnected from her body before.
Floating in water, with presence and intention, is one of the most wonderful healing sensations I’ve ever experienced myself, as a sensory sensitive autistic person.
Pairing this unique embodiment with the fluidity and softness of water has felt so magical to me. Even when one feels disconnected from the body, I find that water always brings me back ❤️🧚
