And that's us at the end of project Make Milos Weigh Less (M.M.W.L) ๐. 22 kg down since July 2024 (3 and a half stone), from 107kg to 85 kg. Ran over 400 km and burned 4.5kg of fat from calories whilst running by itself.
With most of the low hanging fruit from weight loss gone, major changes to diet and training are incoming. Focusing on different goals this year but mostly experimenting to find what works for me now.
Also looking forward to getting good at cooking again. Lots of pasta dishes in the future.
Onwards and upwards.
Probably the highlight of my time in Korea, 2am hugging a Capybara after training at @climbing_highflex and eating an ungodly amount of Korean BBQ.

Experienced the spectrum of Scottish Ice this week, from solid ice on a blue bird day (Smith's route icicle variation V 5) to some questionable quality ice in fog (Sickle V 5).
Very grateful for spending time in Norway with @rob_dziaba , would not have had the confidence to move on these objectives otherwise.
Fantastic week of climbing on Ben Nevis and incredible food by @the_flavourbombking .
@scottishdrytoolingclub
Steep ice and hard mixed only. A week of climbing in some of the most beautiful, and coldest, places I have ever been.
I don't know if too many pairs could spend a week together in such close quarters but a wildly compatible taste in music, sense of humour and general climbing philosophy goes a long, long way.
With the power of Ricky Martin, never taking ourselves seriously and what felt like 4000 calories a day, the climbing kept coming all week.
Learned an incredible amount about leading sustained, steep ice as well as what operating at the high end of mixed climbing grades really means. Mainly came away humble and with a renewed love of the game.
It was a bloody pleasure @rob_dziaba .
Qualifier route 3 from Sunderland this week, and my last competition this season as part of the GB squad.
Falling 5 clips from the swinging gate was certainly a great ending!
Felt great about my performance, with the things I need to fix being tweaks, rather than full on overhauls as in previous years.
Now with more time, I can hopefully write up my experiences in Slovakia, Czech and Korea on my substack. Will post when ever that comes.
Big thanks to @uiaa_iceclimbing for putting this event on and the whole team who made it possible.
