Alive Alert Awake on the Streets of Topeka Kansas. 🏆
(Why does it have tolls?)
Woke up early to make the absolutely stunning drive into Arches National Park.
Wearing my beat up converse is great for a road trip in a backpack, less great for scaling rocks.
Cartwheeling for Em since she can’t 😔✊
Me and that Huluween sweatshirt 4eva
Making an Arch or a circle or a bad heart
Headed to Colorado and drove through snow on the mountains but not on the road thankfully! 🤞
Few pictures taken in Denver cause I was too hungry 🙂↕️
A cowboy like me found some horses to match her shirt. 🐴
Had a Terrible time (pun intended) getting anything for dinner (who closes at 2pm!?!) and had to resort to the most intense Arby’s experience for chicken for sustenance. 🐔
Drank a crazy potion at Swig. 🚱
And mountain goated some red rocks at a random park in Utah. 🐐
Day 1 ✅
Snow tubing, chocolate cake with rainbow sprinkles, and pushing a stuck car out of the snow in a minidress at midnight.
A birthday weekend surrounded by friends and family. I feel so loved. 💗
For the past 5 years I have written and illustrated a children’s book as a gift to my nieces and nephew for Christmas. Typically painting is my medium but this year I wanted to do something a bit different.
I don’t typically share my art because it’s just a hobby and is it ever really that serious lol. But this labor of love might just be my favorite one yet!
I was inspired by 3d interactive books like the fairyopololis series and decided to create a sparkly and magical book about mythological creatures.
Everything is hand drawn or crafted by me. It was so fun to use so many different avenues of my creativity and pretty much every object in the craft closet. Me and that glue gun for life fr.
It’s also my first time binding a book! So that was a fun skill to learn!
From a kracken sinking a ship to a fairy dust pouch, a flying dragon, and a working gnome door… I hope this transports them into a world full of wonder and magic. I hope someday these books can be looked back on as precious keepsakes and a small portions of love.
