Fun morning of birding at Franklin Park. We saw warblers (palm & yellow-rumped), ruby crowned kinglets, a great blue heron, lots of red-winged blackbirds, and a pair of (gay) mallards or maybe they’re just two bros 😂 either way they were not fighting and following each other around and I’m choosing to believe they are in love!

Thank you to everyone who came out to bird with us today! We made the most of a chilly morning along the Neponset! We saw 31 species including many FOYs for me - Great Egret, Snowy Egret, Green-winged Teal, and Brown-headed Cowbird.
